Hello There!

I'm Rhiannon England owner/lead photographer of Rhiannon Kathleen Studios. My goal is to create an atmosphere for my clients that's warm and natural. The best photos happen when my subjects feel at ease and like themselves. I love creating the kinds of photos that you'll want to look back on time and time again.

My interest in photography was sparked in my early teens. By the time I was seventeen, I had begun my journey into the world of weddings. For four years I honed my craft under the tutelage of the areas top photographers, working dozens of weddings. Two of those years I was contracted to work with the lovely Crystal George of Crystal George Studios. I have been blessed beyond measure by the men and women who have fed into my talent and given me a place to grow under their wings.Representation

Fun Facts About Me

I'm a Yankee

Yep! I was born in New Jersey! I moved to Virginia when I was eight and been here ever since, though part of my heart will always be in Jersey <3

I'm the oldest of seven kids!

One thing that you might find interesting about me is that I actually come from a large family. Seven kids made life full and fun for sure! I'm the oldest so kind of adopted the role of second mom ( much to the chagrin of my younger siblings haha). We were all homeschooled right through high school too! 

I wasn't a photographer when I started in the wedding industry...

My work in the wedding industry began when I was about fourteen. My mother, Jennifer England, owns La Bella Torta, a custom wedding cake company. It was through her that I my love of weddings began and I was exposed to some of the local photographers in the area. I quickly became fascinated by their work and talent and wanted to know more. I started interning when I was 17 and the rest is history!

I’m a Spartan

I’ve been running Spartan races for several years now. I highly recommend! I’ve done Sprints and Supers but have yet to run a Beast. Hoping to trifecta at some point soon!

Achievements

Rhiannon Kathleen Studios has been featured in publications such as Fab You Bliss, HillCity Bride and Black Southern Belle. Rhiannon is also known for her work with the Lynchburg Fire Department for their 2018 Fire Women Calendar benefitting the MDA. The calendar was ranked 14th internationally for best Fire Fighter Calendars of 2018.
